  Welcome to our blog about qualitative and quantitative research. We are Efrey Alexis Gonzalez and Jaime Camacho and on this blog, we will describe and present some special features of each research methodology and will answer some questions about them. Check it out and think about what the best option for a complete research could be.

Introduction

Research Idea Methodology

Opinion by Jaime Camacho: My research idea, identifying the methodology used in the chosen topic, for its due review. Qualitative Research in Virtual Education  1. Choose a study question. How to make virtual education have more acceptance and reception in the academic population?  2. Literary review Make a search for documents related to the chosen topic, which should be related to similar research.  3. Take into account the size of the sample. Try to simplify the number of samples, reducing to more affordable samples, therefore easier to measure. According to the results, useful derived data should be obtained, which generate few costs, since the same methodology requires it, facilitating the budget, as well as the planning.  4. 1. What was the motivation of the project?   The author focuses his research on the necessity of comparing data about parents who educated their children at home also named “homeschooling” and those who preferred to carry their children to the school, that caused curiosity on him and started to research advantages and disadvantages on both perspectives. This study was based on the education that people received on the XVII and XIX centuries, where children were educated at home for their parents without being teachers. The author mainly highlights the homeschooling of African American people and white people who lived in USA, but they were not Americans and educated their children on this way.  The main idea is to investigate the importance in the learning process of students at home, and how is the learning process and their academic performance, as well as the emotional and psychological cognitive development, as well as the interaction with their parents or people greater....
